Family photos, work documents, projects and files you cannot replace — when a drive falls, breaks, will not power on, or simply vanishes from the system, stress rises fast. What we recover in practice. HDDs that dropped, broke or stopped powering on; SSDs including firmware-failure cases by diagnosis; SD and microSD cards from cameras, phones or drones; portable drives and USB boxes; files deleted by mistake or after formatting; and computers damaged by water or fire when the media is still treatable. How the process works. Bring the media, describe what happened and when, and what to prioritize. We do an initial assessment and return with a price direction and success outlook. Recovery work is careful: where possible we work on a copy / process that minimizes further risk to the original, as we explain to clients. We do not promise miracles on fully destroyed media — but we will say honestly whether the chance is realistic.
What not to do at home. Do not open a mechanical drive in the living room. Do not run aggressive recovery software on a clicking or unrecognized disk. Do not power it “just one more time.” Do not bake or freeze it as an experiment. Bring it early. If the drive will not power on at all — data can still often be extracted; earlier is better.
When to come urgently. After a drop, strange noises, a format prompt, accidental deletion of an important folder, or a camera card that will not open after a trip. Even if “only some files are missing” — do not wait. Urgent diagnosis is listed on the site for time-critical cases; we schedule according to lab load.
