System requirements. What's known — and what to expect

Official GTA 6 system requirements do not exist. Rockstar hasn't published them, and can't — the PC version isn't announced (GamesHub, Eneba).

Every "GTA 6 requirements" table floating around the web is a prediction. Those predictions rest on three things (Eneba):

the hardware inside PS5 and Xbox Series X, which sets the performance floor;

the history of Rockstar's RAGE engine and how it scaled to PC in past titles;

comparisons to the AAA games of the last two or three years.

Based on those predictions, the picture looks like this (Eneba):

CPU

GPU

Memory and storage

Minimum, 1080p / 30-40 fps

Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i5-9600K

RTX 2060 or RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM)

16 GB RAM + 150 GB SSD (NVMe preferred)

Recommended, 1440p / 60 fps

Ryzen 7 5800X or Core i7-12700K

RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT (12 GB+ VRAM)

32 GB DDR5 + 150 GB NVMe Gen 4

Ultra, 4K / 60+ fps

Ryzen 7 9800X3D or Core i9-14900K

RTX 5080 or RTX 4090 (16 GB+ VRAM)

32-64 GB DDR5 + 200 GB NVMe Gen 4/5

These are not Rockstar's numbers — they're a reasonable read of what the console baseline implies. When the official specs land, some values may shift, but the overall shape won't change much.
